Boston sold out

At 10 o'clock we were ready for the public sale. Filipa (no school today due to snow storm) on her computer using internet explorer and I was on two computers, my iBook and the other computer. I was using firefox. We were ready. The telecharge.com - An Evening with Leonard Cohen page open. Mouse on Find Tickets. Exactly at 10:00 we pressed on where it said Find Tickets.
During the first minutes of the public sale we got some tickets, but we wanted better ones. We refused Orchestra row Y, row R, row Z..... I knew the tickets were going to be sold out within minutes but I wanted to be closer to the stage, to Leonard. At 10:10 we decided to get anything that came up if we wanted to see him in Boston at all. On Filipa's computer two tickets on 1st balcony, 1st row came up. As far as balcony goes those were the best ones. But after putting all the information, credit card number, address, morning, evening, mobile phones I got: internet explorer error. Error. Error at a critical time like this? Filipa I still don't know why you use internet explorer.
And by 10:15 all tickets were sold out.
I have a feeling that there will be a second show in Boston. I hope my feeling is correct. When I saw LC in Toronto last Summer I wished I had taken my daughters and now I am trying to get tickets to take them...

see what I was telling you about my brain? I missed ALL the pre-sales for Leonard Cohen´s concert at the Wang Theatre in Boston (on May29th).

I can't think straight, my mind is foggy, fuzzy, confused, I can't stick to one task, the circuits in my brain don't seem to connect, I get up to do one thing and I forget and the list goes on. Don't tell me chemo brain is not real. It is real. Many times I feel like I have cumulative side effects from 8 years of treatments.

I also missed the New York concert because I forgot...

Ah and DON´T tell me that I have always been this way!

Dreams do come true. Leonard will be in Boston on May 29th. :)))))

I just voted

I have been so busy trying to arrange everything in order to start my next trial in peace that I forgot that I would be away from my home state on Election Day. It was only when I heard that November 4th was probably my first day of R7112 that I panicked. I thought that it was too late for an absentee ballot.

Still, I decided to call the Elections Commission in my town. It turned out that casting an absentee ballot is a lot easier and faster than I thought.

The whole process took me 15 minutes. I drove to the Town Hall. I filled out an application for an absentee ballot. The clerk gave me an absentee ballot. I voted. I gave the sealed envelope back to the clerk. I Drove back home.

I didn't even use the "cancer card."

I shaved my head
I put on robes
I sleep in the corner of a cabin

The only thing I don't need
