speaking of garlic

... some of my friends remember that last October, I was busy planting garlic. Well... here is the fruit of my labor. Now I have no idea what to do. Let it dry before eating it?

secret ingredient: lemon

I added lemon to my morning beet/carrots/garlic juice and it was simply delizioso.
This new tip, to add fresh-pressed lemon juice, came from Italy. From someone who found my blog when searching the effects of garlic on certain types cancer. So it is true, I am the garlic girl :))))

Grazie Dino!

Eu VOU BEM

quem nao VAI NADA BEM são as minhas células cancerosas que um dia destes levam um tiro no pé.

Images of my last scans, before and after last surgery, with music of two Brasilians that I love, Ana Carolina and Seu Jorge. This song (Serge Gainsbourg's Chatterton) repeats the phrase: Nao Vou Nada Bem, meaning, I am not doing well at all. Which is not my case, since I am doing well, EU VOU BEM. It is my cancer cells that are not doing well at all. One of these days, my great Dana-Farber team is going to find a drug that forces them to commit suicide.

confessions of a juicer (yeah I am still juicing)

1- Sometimes my vegetables/juices are more photogenic than
eatable/drinkable. Today I threw all this (beet and its leaf,
carrot, brocoli, garlic and radish) into the juicer.

But even with my special olive oil (produced and sent by
a friend in Portugal), I wasn't able to finish my bowl.
I don't know how some rawists are able to drink grass.
Crasy Sexy CanSer Cowgirls will you tell me your secrets?

2 - My motivation should be to see if a miracle happens.
To see if a raw diet can stop/slow the growth of my
tumours... but the truth is: I am doing all this raw business for my hair.

from garden to juicer

yesterday´s harvest: sweet basil, thai basil, mint, raspberries, hot peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, chives and nasturtium flowers

I called it a cold soup instead of green juice since I added salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
I almost forgot to tell you, I also added garlic :)
